advise please XD

i have been friends with someone (in RL) for over 10 years but since a year orso... well it aint as fun as it used to be...
she wants to go shopping and do fun stuff with me but I dont really feel the need for that anymore...
soo... my question is... How do you tell your childhood best friend that she needs grow up en get serious about life for once, and stop acting all pathetic. And that i really dont have time for her wining about how her life sucks so bad while she's not doing anything herself to make her life better...

i could tell her it like that but... i still want to be friends with her... but I've kinda had it with her and her wining and unimportant things... I want to tell it in a... nice way XD
so that she wont get mad at me... After all, she has been my best friend for 10 years...

so... does anyone knows what to do?

just tell it to her like it is, but not in a mean way though, in a normal voice so they wont get offended by wat ur saying, like "Best Friend, i think u need to do something more with ur life, just go out there and try to do things by urself, u can be depending on others all the time, there comes a time when everyone has to grow up and go on their own way" something like that xD and if i made a typo sorry, i was half asleep .-.

well she is used to get what she wants so she wont like me telling her this =_='

What i advise you to do is to be honest with her and don't lie to her. That will not get you anywhere. You should talk to her in a friendly way and try to teach her or guide her in what she would do. Furthermore, try to give her a purpose to live. A goal in her life to accomplish, if she doesn't have one.

her goals in life is going to amsterdam to try some experimental drugs and kiss as many boys as she can on her vacations...
thats what i mean with her needing to grow up...

Then try to give her a good, serious reason to live and a goal to accomplish. If these are her goals in life, then she can as well die and it there will be no difference in the world. I am sorry if i offend you or her with these words.

she just doesnt listen to me..
now she's jealous of some other friends of mine cause i hang out more with them...
but they're more... grown-up but still very... not grown-up at times...
and thats kinda what i need right now ^^
but i dont think she'll understand since she's not that smart XD

lol dragon, you are my student indeed. I know exactly what you mean quenya o.o When people whine about how there life sucks really bad, not much you can say, but I usually tell them whining about it does nothing .-.

I use to have this exact situation middle school o.o I had a friend, and we'd been friends since I moved city's, so, 5 years as of now, all through middle school we drifted apart, and he needed to grow up. I never said anything about it, because thats not my style xD Haven't talked to him ever since .-.

Like dragon said, just be honest and get to the point, she may cry about it, hate you, but eventually, she'll understand, dont make teh same mistake I did o.o

I understand what ur going through Quenya 0.o my best friend has gotten mixed up with the wrong kind of crowd and I'm afraid she's going to make a bad rep for herself. We're drifting apart now cuz I cant seem to get enough courage to tell her to grow up and stay away from the people she's hanging out with <.< (they won't make it ANYWHERE in life) I'm also afraid she'd hate me if I told her that 0.o''

She wont, I already know that. For if she attempts it, I will come out of nowhere and snatch you away to safety then make some amazing speech on the spot....ok maybe not x.x She wont though, if you've been friends that long.
